Isaiah 66:1a
"Thus says the Lord: Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool."
Jeremiah 51:15
"He made the earth by his power, and he preserves it by his wisdom. He has stretched out the heavens by his understanding."

"You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you."
Watching this video, my head goes all twisted and I cannot even fathom the depths of the universe. To think that this was created by a God who is so personal, so in love with me that he has memorized the amount of hairs that are on my head each.day... I stand in awe. I ♥ you, Lord.

I wonder, by posts like this, if you would be as open to someone writting something AGAINST the lord, as you are about posting nice things FOR him.
We aren't all Christians in the world--and thank whoever for it. But please know that it doesn't hurt to be open to both sides of the story.
"ANONYMOUS", you honestly think that I, as a Christian, would allow a post against Him whom I love? YOU'RE OUT OF YOUR MIND!! My answer is a resounding "NO, I will never do such a thing." For me, being a Christian is not about following rules, trying to be perfect or even about traditions. It is about a relationship with Jesus Christ as the man who died to cover my mistakes. It may seem far-fetched to you, but the truth always is to one who doesn't want to understand. I'll even go further to say that any comments posted which go against Jesus, God or my faith in general will be automatically deleted. I will not tolerate it. Call me passionate, call me a Jesus Freak, a Bible-basher or what have you but this is one area that I will not back down on.
Imagine for a moment, if you will: your child (if you have one), or the person who is closest to you, whom you love with your entire being. Now, imagine me asking you if you would allow (even approve of) a post that insulted them, called them names, made fun of their very existence or said horrible things about them to hurt you. I have a hard time thinking that YOU would allow such a thing. Now you know how I feel.
As far as someone else's blog- I cannot control what people say, think or feel; but I certainly would not support their writings. That's what you do for your best friend, you support only the good.
Dude, wow. Some anonymous person out there needs a new hobby, and possibly a new blog to follow. I mean, I'm not Christian either, but no body's FORCING me to read your blog. Hi, people. I'm reality. Have we met?
Sorry people are so mean, especially over the holidays... it's no secret what your blog is about, and no one HAS to agree with you. Jeeeez. Peeeeeople.
AMEN Prairie!!!
Seriously Anonymous, get a life or learn how to debate not attack!!! Grow up anonymous....and Sarah, keep sharing your thoughts and ideas--regardless of whether someone agrees with you or not, you are doing a fab job by making us all THINK...which obviously makes some people very uncomfortable....I appreciate your (and Nomz's) words although I may not always agree, because they make me look beyond myself and either make me learn to make changes or just strengthen what I personally believe...the beauty is we can agree to disagree in a MATURE manner....some people never learn this sadly...I hope anonymous does, or like Prairie said finds another blog to read! :)
Jess
I liked the original post, because it was so nice. I've never seen a religious discussion go anywhere but bad when the opening remarks suggest the other's view isn't the right view (Anonymous' opening remarks). But I would have responded differently, though (to Anonymous). I mean I don't agree with her or whoever about being open to both sides of the story, because if you're open to both sides, you're not committed to any side. So if your not committed to a side, maybe you're searching.
So I guess I would have given them something to find. I would have said it was sad that they couldn't feel God's love, and that my love for Him won't allow me to speak against Him or willingly promote ideas that countered my heartfelt beliefs. I would also have said that I'd pray for them regardless of how they felt. But I think any kind angry response to those energetic non-Christians just hardens their heart towards God even more.
